AEW Power Rankings - Post Dynamite 29.07.20 - The State of AEW...
Last week, we saw several individuals stake their claim as the next great contenders in AEW. This week, it was all about the multi-man matches. What is there to learn from singles competitors in multi-man environments? Let’s find out… MEN’S SINGLES | CHAMPIONS: JON MOXLEY (WORLD) & CODY (TNT) *8 Taunts per match is the most in AEW. 1) MJF (8-0 Singles, 10-2 Overall) Last week, MJF was busy getting a rookie to scream into a microphone how good MJF’s record is. This week, it w

AEW Top Grapplers
The following is a display of the top grapplers in AEW as of 02/08/20. The numbers are compiled from all 1v1 Male Singles matches with traditional rules in 2020. Grapples per hour rates are used as strikes per match would be affected by differing match times. However per hour rates are affected by match length too as shorter matches tend towards higher rates of grappling as there is less of a need to sell the affects of the damage taken in the match. Wrestlers sell more in

Wednesday Night Ratings - 30/07/2020
Here we go again with the weekly look at all of the ratings from the major 4 US Wrestling shows. As usual all numbers are from Showbuzz Daily but the graphs and analysis are all my own. AEW dropped slightly in both total viewers and the P18-49 demo this week. With a 9% drop in total viewers (845k to 787k) and a 6% drop in the demo (0.32 to 0.3). I think these are still encouraging numbers for what was generally regarded as a poor show, and probably also shows the gradual wear

AEW Power Rankings - Post Dynamite 22/07/20 - A Star is Born!
This was one of the better overall Dynamite’s in the entirety of AEW’s lifespan. And it makes it so much easier for me as someone who does power rankings when such a variety of competitors are in action. But who improved their stock? Who failed to impress? And who could be the one to finally dethrone any of the long-reigning champs? Of course there’s only one way to find out… MEN’S SINGLES | CHAMPIONS: JON MOXLEY (WORLD) & CODY (TNT) 1) MJF (8-0 Singles, 10-2 Overall) He was

AEW: The First to 50
7-22-2020 AEW has been running weekly shows for over ten months now. During that time they have been keeping an accurate win/loss record for their performers. Looking ahead to the future I am going to make an educated guess as to who will be the first male performer with 50 wins. In my opinion there are three leaders in the race for 50 wins. Kenny Omega (29 career wins), Cody (22 wins) and Scorpio Sky (22 wins). There are several factors that will contribute to more wins. Fir
