Worker of the Week 32
This week was one of the hardest weeks of the year to put into a top ten. We had the finals of the G1 in Ryogoku Sumo Hall, the continuation of NOAH's N-1 Victory tournament, and we saw some amazing shows as Stardom gets into the thick of their 5 Star GP tournament too! The quality of these tournaments has been extraordinary, especially the last couple days of the G1 which was a much needed boost to a fairly lackluster tournament. All of these wrestlers have had multiple matc

Worker Of The Week: Week 9
Here we are, once again, with another fantastic week for professional wrestling! This was easily the hardest list to compile as I really didn't want to leave people out, but I also wanted to showcase all the amazing performances from around the world, from the indies all the way over to Japan. This is why I'm now trying to have one wrestler per match on the list. "trying" being the important word this week. Honourable Mentions: -Maya Yukihi (Maya Yukihi vs Giulia, Stardom, 4/

Worker of the Week: Week 8
A week which saw one of the most historic wrestling shows of all time in Keiji Muto's retirement show, also gave us some great tag team action, and two great Impact shows. This is one of the more condensed lists so far, but still packed full of great performances! Honourable Mentions: -Kaito Kiyomiya (Kazuchika Okada vs Kaito Kiyomiya, NOAH, 21/2) -Tetsuya Naito (Keiji Muto vs Tetsuya Naito, NOAH, 21/2) -Wheeler Yuta (Orange Cassidy vs Wheeler Yuta, AEW, 22/2) -Matt & Nick Ja

Worker of the Week: Week 7
One of the most important weeks in pro-wrestling of the year, with two massive PPV events from NJPW and WWE, not to mention some historic moments in Japan with AJPW's Excite Series giving some hot matches and a very interesting outcome to the main event! Honourable Mentions: -KENTA (Fred Rosser vs KENTA, NJPW, 18/2) -Naruki Doi (Atsuki Aoyagi vs Naruki Doi, AJPW, 19/2) -Sami Zayn (Roman Reigns vs Sami Zayn. WWE, 18/2) -Seth Rollins (US title Elimination Chamber Match, WWE, 18

Worker of the Week: Week 6
With a slow start to the week a strong back half really carried it to a solid week of pro wrestling across the world. From the American indies to New Japan and AEW, we've seen iron-man performances, brutal, bloody, brawls and classic main event spectacles. Honourable Mentions: - Yuka Sakazaki & Mizuki (Mizuki & Yuka Sakazaki vs Miu Watanabe & Suzume. TJPW, 11/2) - Komander (Komander vs Mike Bailey & Komander vs Arez, GCWxJCW, 11/2) - MJF & Konosuke Takeshita (MJF vs Konosuke

Worker of the Week: Week 5
This week was one of the best in wrestling that I can remember. Amazing matches coming from the US and Japan, from multiple promotions. Therefore it was also one of the most difficult weeks to rank. Any one of these wrestlers could have been on the top of the list on any given week, and the honourable mentions are extra honourable too! Honourable Mentions for Week 5: -MIRAI & Chihiro Hashimoto (MIRAI vs Chihiro Hashimoto, Stardom, 04/02) -Saya Kamitani & Momo Watanabe (Saya K

Worker of the Week: Week 4
Going into this week there wasn't many matches that really had me excited, but it turned out to be very eventful and full of awesome matches, even if they were bittersweet in some aspects. Honourable Mentions for Week 4: -Bryan Danielson (Bryan Danielson vs Brain Cage, 25/1, AEW) -Kevin Owens (Roman Reigns vs Kevin Owens, 28/1, WWE) -Roman Reigns (Roman Reigns vs Kevin Owens, 28/1, WWE) -Sheamus (Men's Royal Rumble Match, 28/1, WWE) -ASUKA (Women's Royal Rumble Match, 28/1, W

Worker of the Week: Week 3
Another brilliant week for wrestling is in the books. Puro is off to a hot start to 2023 and AEW has been killing it the past few weeks too! Worker of the Week 2023: Week 1
Welcome to the very first "Worker of the Week" where I rank the performances of wrestlers across the world, from AEW and WWE to New Japan, and Stardom, amongst many others. Its a simple system you may remember if you followed Jack King's "Wrestlers of the Week" on Cultaholic. 1st place for the week gets 10 points, 2nd gets 9, and so on, with 10 wrestlers each week. Points accumulate over 52 weeks and we see who is "Worker of the Year" for 2023 Honourable mentions for Week 1:

Next Week in Wrestling | 26th December - 1st January
The japanese wrestling scene carries us through the rest of this year and into the next with loads of big shows from almost all japanese companies. Truly a wonderful time for wrestling fans. Recommendation of the Week: Syuri vs Giulia Oh boy, I'm excited for this one! The PWI #1 Syuri has dominated Stardom throughout this last year after winning the World of Stardom Championship last year at this event against Utami Hayashishita.
