Being halfway through 2024, now feels like a good time to clean up the rankings a bit. There are groups that haven't been featured on AEW main programming in a while and it just doesn't make sense to me to include them in the rankings anymore. In order to rejoin the rankings, it's going to take more than a guest appearance. We're going to need a substantial program or chasing an AEW title to be back on the main list. It's doubtful that this happens for some of these teams

As of this article I'm tracking 17 groups (not including ROH). Looking over the list I wondered if maybe this is too many. One criticism of AEW is having a large roster and not enough TV time. The upside is that being a part of a group may increase visibility for talent that may not get featured otherwise. Killswitch hasn't had a match in months, but he does get to hang around with the Patriarchy and look menacing. Good work if one can find it. So bring on more factions

This attainment score can soften a weak win % (strength), it can also alleviate poor cohesion amongst members. AEW's Revolution PPV was one for the history books as Sting wrapped up a legendary career, we got a new champion (for the AEW International), and Will Ospreay proved he may be the best signing that AEW has ever made.
