Wrestler of the Year Candidate 3

Kento Miyahara

Kento Miyahara is not a man known to the wider wrestling audience. However, more learned wrestling fans will wax lyrical about Miyahara's skills in the ring. 2019 has seen AJPW's Triple Crown Heavyweight Champion go from strength to strength.

Miyahara's fourth title reign is now over a year long and has had 7 successful title defenses. He is now only behind the legendary Mitsuhara Misawa for combined Triple Crown reigns and his 2019 does fuel the idea that he could very well catch him before the end of his career if he stays with All Japan.

If this wasn't enough Miyahara won his first Champion Carnival whilst being the reigning Triple Crown champion.
