Wrestler of the Year Candidate 10

Daniel Bryan

A lot of great things have been said about Daniel Bryan this year and quite rightly so however there are never enough good things that can be said about this wrestler.

The best feel-good moment of the year in WWE this year came with heavy involvement from Daniel Bryan. The best heel-character in years was portrayed by Daniel Bryan in late 2018 and early 2019. The warrior vegan champion was an incredibly compelling and challenging character the type of which is rare int he world of pro wrestling.

Daniel Bryan has managed to keep his character relevant and interesting as the year has moved on. He came out of a horrible soap-opera like storyline unscathed somehow and is making turning face interesting.

The most reliable wrestler in all of WWE.
