AEW Dynamite vs NXT
Similarities:
- Both shows had a No1 Contender's match as the show's main event.
- Both matches went about 15 minutes.
- Both matches had just north of 100 manoeuvres.
Differences:
- AEW went with a blood feud, whereas NXT highlighted competition.
- The variety of wrestling moves was higher in the NXT offering, whereas AEW went for innovative use of weaponry.
- NXT made use of more tide changes whereas AEW had spells of dominance for both teams.
- AEW's match lacked reversals as most transitions occurred due to a weapon attack from a competitor re-entering the fray.
- There was lots of interference in the AEW bout whereas NXT only focussed on the competitors.
