Lariate’s TV Ratings | February 13th to February 19th

RAW Ratings (13th February) :

  • Ratings : 1 812 000 (-2,89 %) & 0.47 sur les 18-49 [-0.08]

  • Ratings per hour :

    • H1 : [P2+ : 1 818 000] [18-49 : 0.46] [Cable Pos : 2]

    • H2 : [P2+ : 1 924 000] [18-49 : 0.49] [Cable Pos : 1]

    • H3 : [P2+ : 1 695 000] [18-49 : 0.45] [Cable Pos : 3]

RAW continues to lose ratings after putting out big episodes at the end of the NFL season. This was the last RAW before Elimination Chamber and it did not intrigue the fans more than that. It should be noted that the show remains the leader on cable, as it often is when there is no NFL in front of it.

But these are still disappointing numbers, where we were used to shows that could exceed 2 million viewers and exceed 0.55 on the 18-49. A Hunter effect that is starting to fade and decisions that are perhaps less understandable?

Ratings NXT (14th February) :

  • Ratings : 640 000 (+13,88 %) & 0.15 sur les 18-49 [+0.04]

  • Cable Pos : 17th.

NXT finally regains some audience in this year 2023. A gain that is good as the trends that were emerging were negative. Especially since the competition that night was usual to those of the previous Tuesdays. Nevertheless, we should not claim victory too quickly for NXT and try to consolidate these figures as soon as possible to avoid falling back into the negative trend. It remains to be seen if this was a score that restores interest or if it was just a one-night stand.

Ratings AEW Dynamite (15th February) :

  • Ratings : 824 000 (-8,34 %) & 0.27 sur les 18-49 [-0.03]

  • Cable Pos : 4th.

Numbers that are not really good this week by normal standards and come at a bad time as TV rights renewal negotiations are about to begin (AEW's rights will most likely be upgraded even with these "disappointing" numbers). It would be nice to get some momentum back as the Revolution PPV deadline approaches.

Nonetheless, we'll note that the loss on 18-49 is to be looked for on the M18-49 side since F18-49 did not drop this week. Dynamite finds itself in 4th place behind the two NBA games and Challenge, a show where they can easily move back ahead.

Ratings Smackdown (17th February) :

  • Ratings : 2 383 000 (-3,44 %) & 0.58 sur les 18-49 [-0.06]

Smackdown is still the leader on TV, but it is taking a small drop in ratings on the eve of its PLE Elimination Chamber. This drop is mainly felt in the 18-49 demographic and can be explained by the NBA All Star game broadcast on ESPN, an annual event that always gathers a good part of the youth audience having recorded a score of 1,395,000 & 0.54 this year.

We'll focus on the post-Chamber numbers next week.

Ratings AEW Rampage (17th February) :

  • Ratings : 287 000 (-23,47 %) & 0.07 sur les 18-49 [-0.05]

  • Cable Pos : 59th.

The show was exceptionally aired at 07:00PM and had to face the beginning of the NBA All Star Game aired on ESPN, whose figures were quoted for Smackdown. It is therefore complicated to draw conclusions: big competition and a different time slot, so it is normal that the audience is not good this week. No conclusion can be drawn from this week's figures.
