AEW Rampage focussed on the in-ring this week which worked out just fine. Last week's show was book-ended by two longer matches and it worked well. This week's structure was more shared out and between four matches. From the debut of Hook to a state of the art tag opener, this Rampage hit almost perfectly and it'll be to nobody's surprise this show was a better women's division presentation away from being a terrific show.
Lucha Bros vs FTR
An all-action performance from Lucha Bros was responded to by submissions and tag-team proficiency by FTR. Lucha Bros' seesaw offence was bookended by two huge cumulations of offence to start and end the match.
Fuego Del Sol vs Hook
Hook's debut was not a disappointment, a display of vicious strikes, impressive grapples and smirking confidence was satisfying to watch.
Wheeler Yuta vs Adam Cole
Yuta pulls out some high impact grapples and dives to attempt to repel Cole's striking prowess to no avail.
