G1 Prediction - Full A Block and B Block League Tables

Below you will find my full predictions for A Block and B Block in this year's G1 Climax tournament. I am predicting a Kota Ibushi vs Hiroshi Tanahashi final, below you will be able to see how I predict that coming to fruition.

A Block

I'm predicting Kota Ibushi is booked strongest across the two blocks, with him only dropping one match. This coming in his first match with him losing to perennial champion Kazuchika Okada. Okada however, slips up twice to stablemate Will Ospreay and then the sadistic Minoru Suzuki.

Minoru Suzuki will lose to four competitors setting up several potential NEVER Openweight challengers on the road to Wrestle Kingdom. Shingo Takagi earns a rematch and Tomohiro Ishii and Jay White can earn a shot here.

B Block

The Ace of New Japan is going to have yet another strong showing in the G1. This will be a different run to his former Golden Ace partner. Tanahashi will not perform like a God in the G1. His will be a story of grit, determination and rehabilitation. He will drop two matches, one to the champion and the other to Goto.

This is a much more congested block than A Block with 5 men to finish on 12 points, and the Top 6 all within 2 points (1 win).

IWGP Champion, Tetsuya Naito, will drop 6 points via three losses. He will lose to stable mate SANADA as SANADA looks to reestablish himself after essentially being irrelevant in the LIJ civil war this year. Goto will pick up another huge win at the expense of Naito to add to his win over Tanahashi. His other loss will come at the hands of the always deadly ZSJ.
